Otorhinolaryngology is a specialized field dealing with diseases of the head and neck, and it deals with diseases of the facial area including the ear, nose, and throat, as well as the larynx, trachea, and esophagus. In this department the ear-related diseases such as outer-ear and tympanum diseases, middle-ear diseases, inner-ear diseases, hearing loss, facial nerve paralysis, and nose-related diseases such as nasal plastic surgery, external nose diseases, nasal septal disease, non-bleeding nasal cavity diseases, rhinitis, allergic rhinitis, paranasal sinusitis, nasal bone fracture, etc. are diagnosed and treated. Also, tests related to larynx-related diseases, speech-language disorders, and sleep pluralization are conducted.
