About KCH
The Kwangju Christian Hospital (KCH), where modern medicine in Gwangju had its beginnings, has been leading in the development of the medical community of the region by continuously monitoring the health of locals since the first missionary, Dr. Nolan, started practicing modern medicine in this region in 1905.
KCH has grown over many years, overcoming many difficulties and achieving noticeable results. KCH is equipped with all the latest medical facilities and medical equipment, including hospital beds optimized for patient safety, and the best professional medical staff in each field who provide patient-centered medical services.
Equipped with 600 beds, KCH provides professional medical services with prompt and accurate diagnoses to patients through comprehensive healthcare service at its various centers, including its emergency center, endoscopy center, artificial kidney center, cardiovascular center, rehabilitation center, prostate and urinary incontinence center, and comprehensive medical examination center.
Already entering the second century since its opening, KCH will expand in the medical market with the latest medical technology such as robotic surgery, strengthen the hospital’s competitiveness, and build a brand as a hospital that specializes in minimally invasive surgery such as laparoscopy and laser surgery. KCH is again leaping forward as a leading hospital in Gwangju and the Jeonnam area by reinforcing its core capabilities for the future of the hospital, based on our strengths such as operating an integrated pain center to diversify the out-patient care system and specializing and expanding the endoscopy center.
We are also dedicated to faithfully performing the role of establishing the identity of the mission hospital and serving as a mission-based hospital. We will continue the ministry of sharing and serving as a hospital that conveys the fragrance of Christ.
Thank you.
