The Urology Department is responsible for the diagnosis and the treatment of the diseases of the urinary tract, reproductive organs, and adrenal glands.

The field has seen rapid recent developments due to advancements in technology and equipment. The field can be divided into many specialized areas, including the treatment of urinary tract tumors and prostate disease, the male clinic (sexual dysfunction, male infertility), pediatric urology, and female urology, which includes urinary incontinence, voiding dysfunction, and urology. The clinic has the newest medical equipment, such as those used in extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy, flexible cystoscopy, flexible ureteroscopy, and laparoscopy, as well as surgical microscopes, and the Holmium laser. In addition, fast and accurate diagnosis and treatment have been made possible through the ultrasound machine dedicated for use in the Department of Urology.
